So, I thought that Vernazza was paradise but that was before we got to Nice.
Honestly, I cannot even articulate the beauty of this place. Let's just say had I known about it 7 years ago I would have loved to honeymoon here. It's simply breathtaking.
We took a cruise out to St. Tropez island yesterday and got to steal some glances at the movie stars' homes in "Millionaire's Bay." We also visited Port Grimaud on the way out and that had to be my favorite stop on our trip so far. It was very quaint and very beautiful. I've now found the spot I hope to retire to someday ;) (Wow..I feel really old just now saying that!)

As with other locations that I couldn't find the words in my vocabulary to describe, I'll let the pictures do the talking.

Oh, and by the way, it's terrific to be in a place where I can put my French speaking skills to good use and actually communicate with the locals. However, I speak to them limitedly and they assume I am fluent and begin a conversation with me. It's at that point that I reply, "Je parle l'anglais et un peu francais!" (I speak English and a little French..ha!)
Speak girl!!
